What game got you into real "Gaming"?

For me, I basically played crash bandicoot, scooby doo, spyro the dragon, lord of the rings movie tie in games, jurassic park games, and Pokémon... UNTIL I played Kotor. I liked games as a thing to do, but Kotor was a turning point. I was invested in "gaming" from there on out. Did anyone else have a similar turning point?
