Jon Bernthal’s R-Rated WWII Hit Is Officially a Streaming Favorite Again

Scott Eastwood’s connection to war movies goes back to the beginning of his acting career, when he appeared in _ Flags of Our Fathers _, the acclaimed Oscar-nominated war drama directed by his father, Clint Eastwood. Nearly two decades later, Eastwood has continued to return to the genre, with his latest being the World War II thriller _ Lucky Strike _, which is set to release at home this week. Now, as Lucky Strike brings Eastwood back into the spotlight, one of his earlier WWII movies is also enjoying a resurgence on streaming. The timing may be more than a coincidence, as the film also stars Jon Bernthal, who is having what's perhaps the biggest moment of his career right now.
