Concert voice/pitch change

I was at the show yesterday 10. aug in Stockholm. And my partner and I noticed that his voice sounded off/lighter the whole concert through. You could also especially hear it when he got in a low kind od voice, not too much in the high tones

Did anyone else notice this and does anyone have any explaination?
