Is the rng worse than before TFS?

Hey all. I left destiny after tfs as most of the player base did. I just got back into d2 like 2 weeks ago and I’ve been doing all the new content. Before tfs I always had decent luck with raid and dungeon exotics but it seems worse now. Like this goddamn red crystal! 62 invasions and still nothing! No triumphs to boost its drop rate, and apparently wagering more death marks does nothing for it.. and all it is, is people using revitalize for ult and spamming that. The rng for a blade color is so low in a game mode that is horrible as a non PvP player (thank god you don’t need to be successful for it to drop) it’s driving me insane but I need it for a sith drip.. anyways, how long did it take y’all to get the crystal, and which color gave you the most trouble? And if there is anything to help improve the drop rate, please let me know, I don’t know how much more of this I can take 😅
