Teaching pre-teen girls

Hello experienced teachers. How would you teach pre teen girls more effectively. Obviously strength, speed, and aggression is more evident in the boys. My fear is that the girls I teach may become disheartened if boys a little less experienced can overpower them.

What is your focus for this specific group. What are your expectations. What do you do that has helped them.

I want these young girls to grow together and have more female participants right through teenage years to adult.
