Statutory Reemployment Rights Agreement Drama
I worked for a previous agency, and took a posting with the Dept of Army overseas.
As part of the paperwork CPAC sent me a statutory Reemployment Rights agreement that essentially laid out my rotation agreement.
They informed me to have my supervisor sign it. He did, although he had never seen one before.
My S1/ HR person here at my location said there should have been some more documentation carried out between Army CPAC and IRS HR.
Problem is, they did not. From the foxhole here, it seems they did not secure whatever docs were needed. And this was 2.5 years ago. As my three year mark approaches, it would seem I may not have a rotation agreement in place! CPAC says they have reached out to my last agency, but no progress to show.
What do I do?!
(I hope to not need the agreement as I hope to secure something else. But as my limit to overseas time draws down, it sure feels like I’m about to exit an aircraft soon and now don’t have a reserve parachute!)
