I Think I Just Made an Enemy Before Starting FAST
I went for the loan interview at FAST. We were there 10 minutes before our scheduled timing given in the mail. After that, we were told to sit in the admission office. We waited around for 45 minutes in the admission office, but the students of FAST who were managing the people sitting there were very unprofessional. People who came after us were going before us without any sequence. But I said nothing; I stayed quiet.
Then finally, after an hour, a guy came to us and told us to go with him for the interview, but he took us to the Student Affairs office and asked us to wait there until our turns came, even though the serial numbers were assigned to each student. Then you should follow that, na.
Even after coming to the Student Affairs office, that guy was not managing the students according to the assigned serial numbers. People who came after us were going before us, and we still had to wait for 45 minutes there.
After 45 minutes, we got to know that now it was their break time. The management was on break, and then we had to wait for another hour. Bro, seriously? My father has to go somewhere now. What is this?
But still, I stayed calm and said nothing to that guy. Somehow, we passed that hour. We went off campus to some of our relatives living nearby. After coming back 10 minutes before the break ended, we again went to the Student Affairs office and sat there. That guy brought a new batch from the admission office and then started taking them into the meeting room for interviews.
Now I wasn't able to control myself. Then I finally asked that guy, "We came before them, and it's been 3 hours. We are waiting." He simply replied, "But I didn't see you." When you were here and those students came before you, I was wondering what kind of situation this was.
Just see the serial number assigned to each student, then decide, na. I know there are a lot of other people too. I can understand, maybe you didn't notice us, but at least pay attention, na.
But even after hearing this, I stayed quiet and calm and said nothing. Then immediately after that, that guy asked the student's parent next to me to come for the interview, even though his number was also after me, and I confirmed it.
But bro, still, I stayed quiet. Then after 10 minutes, he again came and asked another student to come with him who also came after us.
Now I stood up and got out of the Student Affairs office and stood in front of that guy and put my arm on his shoulder and simply asked, "Why are these serial numbers assigned to students?" He started giving blah blah reasons that we came after them.
Then I again asked him, "Just tell me why this serial number is written," and he started mumbling. And suddenly, somehow, my father came and told me to stop and asked me to let it go.
I know my tone was not good, but what are you doing, man? This guy was really frustrating.
Now I don't even know what will happen next because that guy, of course, would be my senior, and I have orientation in two days. Btw, I don't even care about that guy, but I want to keep things smooth in my uni life and don't want any fight or any such type of thing with anyone in my uni life.
What do you think? Does it matter at FAST? Tbh, I am not a guy who gets into fight type stuff, and I have never entered any fight in my life.
