We're Imprint Esports and we’re launching our own fantasy game for The International 2026

Hey r/dota2,

Some of you may have heard of us from our past posts, or our work with Dota2ProTracker, Dota 2 Ireland, Kobold League, Crimson Witnesses and SecretShop DOTA. This year we wanted to build something fun for the TI season, so today we’re launching Imprint TI Fantasy at https://ti.imprint.gg!

What is Imprint TI Fantasy? Imprint TI Fantasy is a simple TI fantasy game built around individual player performance. Choose a roster for the tournament by selecting one player from each TI team, and your score is based on each player’s average Imprint Rating from across the event (Imprint Ratings are an overall measure of a player's performance ranging from 0-100). It’s easy to play, but there’s still lots of room for strategy.

# How scoring works

  • Pick one player from each TI team.
  • Your final score is the total of your roster's average ratings at the end of the tournament (how well each player played on average).
  • Choose one Captain, this player's average rating will be is doubled.
  • Choose one "Hidden Impact" player, this player's average rating will be inverted (example: 20 becomes 80).
  • You must choose at least two players from each position (Hard Support, Carry, etc.).

# Why we built it

We wanted to make a fantasy game that is:

  • Easy to understand and quick to enter.
  • Different from standard formats that often rely on arbitrary metrics.
  • Rewarding of good reads on specific players and an overall knowledge of the Dota pro scene.

If you’ve used our rankings or Imprint Rating before, this is that same performance framework turned into a TI game. For some potential research before you create your roster, you can also check out our full player rankings from this professional season at https://imprint.gg/rankings.

# Play now

Registration and full rules are live at https://ti.imprint.gg/.

If you join, feel free to share your roster strategy in the comments, we’d love to see what people are prioritising this year.

Best of luck!
