[Hobby] Godot Dev Looking for a Pixel Artist Collab (Sydney / Remote)

Seeking Pixel Artist

Hi everyone!

I'm a Sydney-based former software dev turned technical product manager, currently learning Godot and building retro game prototypes in my spare time.

I'm looking to connect with a pixel artist for a casual, low-pressure hobby collaboration. To me, finding the right collaborator is a lot like assembling a great TTRPG group: it's all about good chemistry, shared passion, and a common drive to build cool things together without any stress.

To be 100% upfront, this is strictly a non-commercial hobby project. There are no rigid deadlines, no financial expectations, and no scope creep. Because of my background in engineering and product management, I handle all the coding, architecture, and scope control so projects stay small, realistic, and fun.

The goal here is purely about honing our skills, building out portfolio pieces, and seeing where a small prototype leads at a relaxed, no-rush pace. I speak English and Italian, and I'm always open to casual chats, testing out creative ideas, and seeing what clicks.

If you'd like to bring some sprites or tilemaps to life in an engine without the stress of game jam timelines or strict milestones, send me a DM or drop a comment below and let's chat!
