Vacation during Arbeitlos?

Hi all,

I am a tired mother of a 1 year old currently on Arbeitlosgeld since I lost my job 2 months ago. Its been years I took a holiday. My husband and I booked the flights to Italy for a 5 days break next month.

As I checked online now it says I need to get permission from agentur für arbeit before taking the vacation. Is it true? What are the chances of getting it approved because the tickets are non-refundable 😭? And will the Arbeitlosgeld stop during this period?
