I’ve recently got my MacBook (as a travel device and for music production), and I was looking for an app where you can use native apps between Windows and MacBook. And all I could find were virtual machines, which don’t run more than half of Windows apps, or apps where you can share your whole Windows screen and use it separately.
So I started working on my own, and here is where I’m at.
Right now, you can use Windows apps between devices. When you’re away from your Windows PC, you can still open Windows apps remotely (if your Windows device is on), and you can also play games like Valorant.
Of course, it has a lot of bugs and still needs a lot of maintenance.
When I make Windows apps work perfectly, I want to integrate it the other way around — MacBook apps on Windows.
My personal use case is Logic Pro — to see it and work with it on a bigger screen. And for my MacBook — to open my development projects from Windows when I’m away.
No KVM switches, no cables — only Ethernet.
Also, my Windows monitors are 1080p, but when you bring Windows apps to the MacBook, they’re displayed in 4K MacBook quality (NVENC 4:4:4 HDR 120Hz).
What do you guys think? Should I just build it for myself and tolerate some bugs, or should I make it perfect so you guys could use it too? Would you buy it?
