Is it weird to be theologically very conservative and also politically more left wing?
I would theologically be considered very conservative. I'm anti-LGBT, I don't think women should be pastors, I believe Christ is the only way to Heaven (aside from maybe some outlying circumstances like being a member of an uncontacted tribe who's never heard of Christianity or something, this one shouldn't be considered conservative because it's just true), and I think all non-Christian religions shouldn't exist.
But I'm also kind of a leftist. Too be clear, I am against many progressive political viewpoints, abortion and LGBT stuff are the big 2 gripes I have with them, but I'm more liberal on virtually everything else. I support legal weed, immigration, healthcare for all, regulations on corporations, increased taxes on the rich. I am not a fan of the current left at all because of their insistence on supporting LGBT and abortion.
