Need a new laptop- any brands/model recommendations?

TLDR: I need a new laptop, preferably a windows PC, and not HP brand. Something big (15+ inch), with lots of storage that will last a long time. Budget: don’t care, Country: Canada.

So as the title says, I need a new computer. I’ve had my HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 laptop now for 4 years, and it’s been going downhill for the last year. It’s really dying now- SUPER slow/laggy, freezes all the time, gets so hot, etc. I’ve been putting this off for awhile, but it’s almost unusable now, so it’s time.

I’ve had HP laptops for awhile now (my previous one lasted 4 years as well), and I’d like a change. For starters, they don’t seem to last me super long (like I said, 4 years only).

Some of the things I’m looking for: I love having a big laptop (mine is 16 inch), so preferably 15 inch (or larger). I need a lot of storage (I have 1 TB right now which has been super useful for school/my job). A 2-in-1 laptop has been a super nice perk as well, but not a must. I really just want a nice laptop that will last and runs quickly.

Any ideas what brands or models to look into? I’m in Canada. I don’t love Macs (I’ve always had a Windows computer) but if that’s truly whats best, I’ll look into it. Price isn’t super important here, I’ll pay if it’ll last me awhile, and I’m not even sure how much laptops costs these days.
