Trying to find a helmet

I have a rather large head (25.5in) and would like a reasonable helmet to protect your head. I know that something is better than nothing, but I would really like something comparable to a helmet that would be on the Virginia helmet rating list. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you for your time.
