He wants to fly me out

I (26F) have known him (50-some M) for a couple years now. He travels for work and when he’s in my city he pays for dinners, sometimes for experiences too (like museums), and invites me to stay in his hotel. Once he didn’t want to pay for dinner so he cooked us some steaks or something idr. We’ve been sexually intimate, and also have decent conversations. He seems like he cares, he always gives me advice with school and work. He has a silver band on his ring finger that I’ve never questioned, and he’s left me much-needed funds once in a while. I think the nature of our relationship is pretty clear. He offered to fly me out to see him in my country, but I declined because I got serious with someone else, and I haven’t seen or heard from him since then (over a year, maybe two).

This week, he messaged and just called out of the blue, we had a nice catch-up. There is no longer a pressing reason to not see him, should the opportunity arise.

A couple years ago, he said he would buy me a vacation. He said he would fly me out to several countries over seas for 7-10 days, and if he has time he’ll join me as well but no promises on him being there too. During the call earlier today, he brought that up and said he’d like to honor that promise, maybe in a couple months. He would be paying for the flights and hotels, so he would have that information. He told me to bring a little spending money, and that’s all.

I’m worried about getting trafficked (and so are my friends) but at the same time I been saying I need a solo trip, it’d be nice to not pay for it lol

What do yall think. Will I be in danger if I go? How much danger will I be in if I go? How sketchy does this seem to you?
