Foreign object found in Ploughmans High Protein Bread – PAK’nSAVE Moorhouse, Christchurch

Has anyone else experienced this with Ploughmans High Protein Bread? We purchased the bread from PAK’nSAVE Moorhouse, Christchurch, on Monday. It has been stored at room temperature as directed on the packaging. While my 3½-year-old daughter was eating it, she suddenly made a crunching sound, so we stopped her immediately. My wife later experienced the same thing, and yesterday I also found what appears to be a small stone/stone-like foreign object in the bread.

We have not continued eating the bread and have retained the remaining bread, packaging and foreign object. I have also informed the store.

I’m not asking whether the bread is safe in general — I’m trying to find out whether anyone else has experienced a similar issue with this product or batch, particularly anyone who purchased it recently in Christchurch.
