An agency asked me to sign a Non-Poaching Agreement after the initial interview
I just wanted to ask if this is normal. I thought agreements like this were usually signed when you actually landed a client or started working with the agency. At this stage, I haven’t gotten a client or any benefit from them yet.
I feel like I’m being put in a shackle without getting anything in return. 😅
Is this standard practice with agencies? Should I be concerned about signing something like this before I even have a client or job through them? I’d appreciate any insights or experiences from people who have dealt with similar agreements.
