Work in Madrid, house in Guadalajara

I received a job offer to work in Madrid airport, for immigration reasons (pareja de hecho for my girlfriend) I need to go in Castilla La Mancha and I was looking for Guadalajara.

My simple question is: how is going with the car every morning and coming back from Guadalajara to Madrid?
I saw is 45mins…but is real time or I should expect more due to heavy traffic?
Is something people already does and is common or not?
