Hydrawise set up ?

So my irrigation guy came out today to install and set up our Hydrawise but I am wondering what I do with the app (yeah I called him, he didn't answer and Im impatient so thought Id ask here)

He connected it to our Wifi (gave him the password and verified it has connection and a strong signal) but when I try to set up the app it says my serial number (verified serial # on the screen) is already in use. I know he told me he would be able to access the system without needing access in my garage to winterize and start the system and I see they ask if you are a contractor or customer.

Does he need to give me access as he likely set it up as a contractor?
