What actually makes a football team “good”? 👀
We often judge teams by results, league position, or the number of goals they score.
But if you had to evaluate how good a team REALLY is beyond the scoreboard, what would you look at?
For example:
• xG / chance quality
• Shot creation
• Possession & territory
• Defensive structure
• Pressing intensity
• Build-up quality
• Transition play
• Squad depth
• Consistency over time
Which factor do you think is the most reliable indicator of a team's actual strength?
And more importantly — why?
I'm interested in hearing different perspectives, especially if you can back your opinion with statistics, examples, or tactical reasoning.
