Like so many others I am obsessed with this at the moment. and like so many others I’m watching along and scratching my head because this man is not innocent. He’s just not. BUT she killed the kid’s right? She admits it. She testifies a man’s voice tells her to do it. And I’ve seen so many people saying “well I bet that voice was Patrick” but I haven’t seen many people piece things together properly in the way I’m about to do strap in to my alternative narration that stitches up both truths.

I think Lindsay and Patrick were having marital problems that were escalating over a few months. And once Patrick realised that Lindsay is sensitive to medication and she was really potentially going to leave him and implode the family life veneer he’d built then I think everything changed for him. He insisted on trying a different provider - they tried the hospital where his mum worked and he laid the narrative idea that bipolar may be on the cards. Cos what better way to ensure Lindsay remained trapped then to ensure that she’d struggle to get custody if she decided to leave. And she’d never leave without the kids so…he created and perpetuated the situation in which Lindsay’s mental health crisis escalated.

He starts to intermittently meddle with her medication as a form of control and to destabilise her more and I guess somewhere along the line as shit gets worse decided upon the annihilation of their lives. On that day he drugs her and then attempts to kill her via the window only after slitting her up as a cover story. After a while he sets the alibi into motion and runs to the store. I wonder if he does dash home but who knows. Then grabs the dinner and does in fact get back to their house where she is still alive and so he needs to now play it off anyway.

If she died he could still do the wrongful death suit and sue the providers for big $$$. If she lives he still sues them. He technically didn’t kill anyone, she did. And she did it because she was so mentally unwell. She was so unwell yet he thought she was fiiine to leave with the children. It’s never made sense. This guy decided to first control his wife and then kill then all to start again. But he wanted to do it in such a way that saved face completely and also showed she was amazing too. He’s never ever had a bad word to say about Lindsay…he’s just raised money for hospital charities and been vocal about how the system should work better huh. And then sued them. Money money money. He’s having his cake and trying to eat it too.

Reddington has a smoking gun. Don’t fret.
