How do I bring up getting therapy with my father?

He’s a single father, he’s Slavic (should say a lot) and hates the idea of therapy (after my mother killed herself, a few days after a therapist gave her the ok for custody of her kids).

I’m 19, and I can’t pay for it. My dad has insurance that would help a little bit, but it wouldn’t be the most help but still cost money.

I don’t want to share with my dad why I’m trying to get into therapy, and I will NOT under any circumstances share that with him

I could use all the advice I can get on how to approach this with him
