Does anyone else HATE the mechanics of the Final Boss???

I really hate that you have to fight the hollow knight EVERY TIME before you have to get to The Radiance. You have already shown that you can beat the hollow knight yet you have to go throught that fight again which means less and less time spent actually fighting The Radiance. Yes, I know that it makes lore sense that you have to fight THK before TR but all it serves to do is draw out the fight for no reason. I love the rest of the game but I genuinely wonder what Team Cherry was smoking when they thought this was even remotely a good idea. What's weird is that your health gets refilled so it's not like Dark Souls where it's part of the difficulty.
