Help deciding whether to mod SVE into my game, or not, for new a playthrough
Alright, just as my header says ^, I wanted to reach out and see what people's opinions are on what type of mods I should/shouldn't add into my next Stardew Valley playthrough.
Some background:
I have over 200 hours of Stardew Valley on steam and likely another 80 or so on my old PS4. I have passed a year on multiple playthroughs, and have completed the community center at least a couple of times. However, I never really did much past completing the community center most times (so I have never perfected the game or been to Ginger Island). I love this game to death, which is why I come back to play it so much but always end up restarting it lol.
My question:
I am going to start a new playthrough, and my original intention was to just play through with simple visual mods. Mainly Elle's mods. I love the new visuals they add in, and it doesn't alter gameplay. Plus UIInfoSuit2 because it is just plain nice to have in the game.
Then I decided to take a look through the mods in Nexus and began to like the idea of playing SVE. This would obviously change a good amount if the game. My question is whether people think I should go ahead and start a playthrough with SVE knowing I haven't played much end game in Stardew? Or stick with vanilla and quality of life/ new graphics additions?
The appeal of SVE is that it would be all new to me from the very beginning, but I do have a little guilt knowing I have not played Vanilla Stardew in its entirety even with the hundreds of hours I have poured into it. Thank you to everyone who spends the time to respond! I am a little new to reddit, so I might take a bit to reply. Regardless, I appreciate the help!
