This is just for fun, I’m not trying to be negative I’m just kind of bored right now and my extremely picky reasons are kind of funny even to me!!! I would like to hear if anyone else has really stupidly specific nitpicks like this too for any covers now or in the past lol

1. Moomin- The quote on the Moomin cover is not very motivating for me to actually do any of the work in my planner 😂 There’s a special edition travelers notebook that says “I shall take my fate in my own paws!” and something like that is more of what I would want on a planner!

2. Akiko Miyakoshi - I actually like this one, but for some reason the lone “8” being so prominent draws my attention too much and I feel like I would start referring to the whole notebook as “my 8 planner” or something

3. Beautiful People - I feel like a trifold design would be kind of annoying to use for hobonichi, I actually do like these but they’re too expensive so ok maybe this isn’t that petty

4. Sunsun- Similar to the 8, I don’t like the very prominent “S” on the cover lol. And since it has the silly pocket on the front, I don’t think I’d want to put a cover on cover on it with a sticker over the S or something.

5. Yoshi Watanabe - I don’t like the inside of this cover and I don’t like that it only has one pen loop, I like to keep as much garbage with my planner in various pockets as possible

I do hope there’s something I want soon so I can stop looking at the announcements right at 7 every day!

I’m bored so I’m sharing my extremely petty but lighthearted reasons I’m not getting the covers announced so far that I *almost* really like
