☕ Wednesday Mod Desk: You're not choosing a person. You're choosing your new normal.
Today's post is a little deeper than usual.
Drop your thought in comment and tell us should we as moderator post like this or not.
Some any other random topic should we post.
Here it goes ->
Everyone dreams about the wedding.
Very few people think about the Wednesday that comes 2 years later.
That's the day marriage actually lives.
Not the pre-wedding shoot.
Not the honeymoon.
Not the Instagram anniversary post with *"Found my forever ❤️"*.
Today I'm talking about a random Wednesday.
You wake up.
They're the first person you see.
You drink chai together.
Or may be in silence sitting in Seprate rooms.
You come home tired.
They're there.
You fight.
You make up.
You order food because neither of you feels like cooking.
Then Thursday comes.
Then Friday.
Then another thousand Wednesdays.
Here's the part most people miss.
**The person you marry slowly becomes your definition of new normal.**
Their habits become your habits.
Their mood becomes part of your mood.
Their family becomes your family.
Their way of handling stress becomes the air inside your home.
Peace is contagious.
So is chaos.
Read that again.
People ask,
"Can I spend my life with this person?"
"Do we have chemistry?"
Fair questions.
But here's one almost nobody asks.
**"Do I want this person's normal to become my normal?"**
Because one day...
The honeymoon ends. The habits don't. 🔥
The long phone calls become grocery lists.
The surprise gifts become electricity bills.
Romance doesn't disappear.
It changes its clothes.
It starts looking like...
"Did you eat?"
"I'll wait for you."
"Drive safely."
"I picked up your favourite snacks."
That's the good stuff.
Maybe the purest version of it.
So don't just choose someone you can spend a weekend with.
Choose someone whose ordinary Wednesday you'd happily live a thousand times.
Because marriage isn't built on grand moments.
It's built on ordinary days that quietly become a lifetime.
Happy Wednesday from the mod desk. 🍵
