The Loyal Pin is a masterpiece
I've been rewatching The Loyal Pin for my podcast and I knew already that this series was spectacular in every sense of the word but there are details within the details that I didn't catch the first time.
Specifically with the music and the symbolism in this series. From what Anin and Pin's names mean to then using the meaning of their name as symbols within the series. How the word "pin" shows up and reoccurs so much within the show (The hairpin, the pinwheel, the pine palace, the loyal PIN), and how Anilaphat means a beautiful breeze and often there's clips of a small breeze blowing the blue pinwheel.
Not to mention that everyone acts their asses off in this show. In addition to freen and Becky obviously I also need to mention Charm who played princess Pat and also Songjet who played Uengfah.
I still have a few episodes to go but I expect that my score will be quite high once again. Like there are things that I'm unhappy about but I'm supposed to be unhappy about them
And don't even get me started with how much culture symbolism is in this series
