2024 delete

Im new to the diesel world, I have a 2024 ram 3500 with a 68rfe. A local shop quoted me 3250 to delete my truck without an ecm swap. I think i might go ahead and do the stock ecm delete. If i want SOTF in the future when i can afford it lol. Will there be any issues? It might be a couple of years until then, and hopefully its alot cheaper. Will i be able to just buy a tune instead of having to take the ecm out anyways. Thanks in advance!
