Bermuda lawn - too much water?

I measured my sprinkler output in a few zones. Some were hitting 1" of water in one session. I am watering every three days.

While looking something else up, Google suggested 1" per week for Bermuda.

Zone 9B. Seeded June 20th, filling in ok but patchy spots and ongoing battle with weeds. Full sun all day and consistent winds. Sprinklers start at 3:45a. Mowed 7 times or so at 1 7/8" hoc, rotary mower. Started spoon feeding urea last weekend.

Is 2" per week too much water? Can excess water be stunting my lawn growth?
