Can it be just a phase?

My gf told me her parents know she’s bi, but she told me they just think it’s a phase.

That got me thinking. Is it possible for how you feel about someone, or a general group of someones to be something you wanna try once, then never again?

I guess I am proof the answer is yes. I was pan I’m pretty sure, but after I tried sex, I discovered it was incredibly gross, so now I’m ace.

But that could just be a me thing. Is it entirely possible for your sexuality, or romantic preference to change?

It’s true mine has, but I’m still super new to this lgbt community, so I don’t think I count. I’m just super confused.
