Need Advice on BMW purchase

I’m considering purchasing a 2025 BMW M440ix from CarMax. The car has a nice spec and is fully loaded with almost all the packages. 2025s are still not off lease yet so not much of them have hit the market which is why I’m looking at inventory from CarMax

The issue I encountered was that while CarMax’s report from Experian was completely clean, the one I pulled independently from CarFax showed it had minor damage to the front-left and front of the car. This is giving me pause although I’m still interested in the car.

My plan was to check it out in person and then if all looks good, purchase and take it for an inspection since CarMax has a 10 day return policy.

Is there anything I should be looking out for? Would I get hosed on the resale/trade-in value if I ever decide to get rid of it? Just don’t know if it’s a smart decision to buy a bimmer with minor damage on the report since this is my first time buying a BMW.
