Outsider running a painting company - need someone who's scaled a trades business

Seeking

Tattoo artist, ten years in, own S Corp, books full. Five months ago I started a home services holding company with a tattoo client that’s become a great friend. He's done everything in the field - masonry, bath and kitchen, full remodels, and runs that side. I run everything else - marketing, CRM, contracts, books, unit economics. Started by copying what I already do to fill my own tattoo schedule, then took it further and learned to build the whole thing myself - sites, funnels, automations, all of it in GoHighLevel. We picked painting to open with on purpose. Quick tickets, short cycles, cash in the door while we build. It's the runway, not the destination. One crew and profitable.

I'm reading The Outsiders right now and most of those eight CEOs came into their industries from outside the trade. I'd like to think that's an asset. Doesn't stop me guessing more than I'd like though. Looking for someone who's taken a trades company from one crew to several and can tell me what actually breaks. Workers comp, sub vs W2, what happens when the owner comes off the tools, how you price when your best estimator isn't on every job. Nothing formal, just someone I can text when I hit a wall. Other half of it - my partner is a craftsman and I'm not. Some calls land differently coming from someone who's actually run a crew. Happy to trade whatever I've got that's useful to you - marketing, automations, funnel work, whatever else.
