I need brutal feedback on the first 10 minutes of my tick-based browser MMO
Game Title: Frontier Crown
Playable Link: https://frontiercrown.com/
Platform: PC (Web/Browser)
Description:
What changes when a multiplayer economy has a fixed monetary supply, no monster-money faucet, and every action resolves on the same global tick?
Players gather resources, mine a finite supply of Crown Gold, forge equipment, place bids and asks on a player order book, hunt the Warden, and eventually sponsor new players by sacrificing resources.
The design is Bitcoin-inspired, but Crown Gold is only an in-game currency. There’s no token sale, NFT, wallet requirement, play-to-earn system, or promise of financial return.
Free to Play Status:
- [x] Free to play
- [ ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)
Involvement: I’m the developer, first time trying this out, much of the artwork and development process were AI-assisted, and I've sunk at least 100 hours of playtime into it already lol. Direct criticism is genuinely welcome. I need focused feedback on three things:
- Does the global tick make sense once you start moving?
- Is it clear why the remaining Crown Gold supply matters?
- Where do you get stuck between registration, claiming an invite, and completing your first action?
It’s a real beta, so balance and presentation will change.
