Black screen after updates

I am recently jumping into Fedora/Linux in general. Windows 11 was not doing it for me anymore on my old laptop. However, recently I updated packages, then restarted the laptop. Now all I get is a black screen. No text; nothing but the backlight to indicate it is on. I can't even get to the BIOS, doing any function key brings up the some text in the bottom left. (Example: F1...System Information). It remains like that, unchanging.

I need some opinions and thoughts on what I can do next to try and fix this. Has this happened to anyone else?
