Any suggestions for keeping retention in my shorts (that matches what I’m talking about)? Please read the whole thing

So I started a new music channel called MxghtyOnMusic that talks about music takes and ranks music albums, more specifically in the hip-hop genre. I uploaded a high quality short every day, spending 1-2 hours per short editing hooks, visuals, my own voice, etc. But the thing is I just don’t know what to add to the background of my shorts. I’ve been using Minecraft gameplay as a background to keep retention but ever since I started that I’ve been getting 0 views on every short. Not 100. Not 10. 0 views. And I’ve tried everything, trust me. I added keywords to my channel, used correct hashtags, showed youtube I’m not a bot account, and everything, and I’m pretty sure the reason I’m getting 0 views is because the Minecraft gameplay in the background does not match what I am talking about, which is music. Does anyone have another suggestion for what I can add to the background of my shorts rather than minecraft gameplay to keep retention? Any feedback or constructive criticism toward my channel will be helpful!
