Are there any faction-focused games?

What i mean by this is video game in which you can play as different faction against another.

So I have been playing ROOT(the board game) lately and its basically a wargame where you play as different faction with their own unique ability.

Because my friends are busy, im looking for a game with similar experience but in single player. I would try different genres. I have played games like Total War Rome 2, Mount and blade warband, and Civ 6. I would say they feel kind of similar.

So any suggestion would be appreciated😊🙏
