Just saw this comment on TikTok while scrolling:

“Blessings are just around the corner, all you have to do is recognize them.”

It was about a story of a mom who was humbled by her 3-year-old son. To make the long story short, the mom was crying because she started comparing her life to what she sees online. One of the things she felt bad about was not being able to buy a brand new car. She felt sorry for herself.

Her little boy saw her crying and asked what was wrong. They explained to him why Mommy was sad, and when they started praying, her 3-year-old son began thanking God for everything he could see inside their room.

He even thanked God for their arinola. 🥹😭

What a beautiful reminder.

We spend so much time focusing on what we don’t have that we sometimes forget to appreciate everything we already have.

That little boy didn’t see what was missing. He saw what was there.

Sometimes, we don’t need more blessings. We just need to recognize the blessings we already have.

Even the littlest things in life are blessings we often tend to forget to appreciate.

Sometimes, what feels ordinary to us is actually something we once prayed for. 🥹

I just thought this was worth sharing. 🫶🏻🥹
