Pickleball Players - How many months can we play outdoors in the Vancouver area

Hi all, I’m newly moving to the Metro Vancouver area (somewhere around White Rock / South Surrey) and trying to get a feel for the outdoor pickleball season.
I know it rarely gets truly cold, so I’m guessing rain is the real limiter. For those of you who play regularly:
• Which months are actually reliable for outdoor play?
• When does everyone give up and move indoors?
• Are there pockets that stay drier or more playable than others — does being right on the water in White Rock help at all?
Just trying to plan how much of the year I’ll be outside vs. hunting for indoor court time. Appreciate any local wisdom. Thanks!
