Is it smart to buy a TV now or wait till November?

The other day was my grandmas birthday and while she already has a TV in her living room we’ve spoke about upgrading her TV and she says it would be nice but that’s is also not necessary. With us looking at TVs the other day she really liked this Samsung 65” TV OLED but the price was about $1300 before tax with a 2 year warranty.
I told her I would buy any of the TV same size up to $700 but asked her if we could possibly wait till November for some good sales because I really didn’t expect it to be that expensive.
She told me she truly does not worry and again shes just happy to have me and all the family around. Now in today’s age so many electronics are going up rather than down in price and I’m curious if I could actually save a few hundred for Black Friday shopping, thanksgiving and Christmas time or if it’s just best to buy it now?
