Should I read Powerless?

I've had powerless on my tbr for a while now but so many people say they simply would never read it because it's plagerism. I read the blurb and a bit of the plot like something I would like (also suuper sexy). But I also want to read red queen... I don't want of them to be ruined cause I'm just thinking of how similar they are but if that's inevitable than which book do you guys think is better of two so I can read it. Should I read the powerless series or the red queen series... Or both-and if so in what order?
