Frustrated with ICU Training

I am a 2nd year ICU Registrar and aiming to sit upcoming exams. I find it very frustrating that only Core ICU time counts (after First Part Exams) and essentially the 2.5 years I've done this job has only counted for 6 month foundation time...

It's also very hard to get Anaesthetic 12 months of training time, and they always pair it up with 6 months ICU (again unaccredited) + 6 months anaes.

This pathway feels very long and drawn out.
