Anybody travelled back on old employer’s H1B visa stamp recently?

I have a H1B stamp by my old employer and new employer’s I-797A and paystubs. Can I travel back successfully with that? Has anyone done that recently and did you face any problems?

There were layoffs at my previous employer, but I had successfully gotten H1B transferred to a new employer within 60 days without an issue.
