Does your camera app crash in video mode too?

I have tried with the help of the phone company people to fix this problem and haven't been able to this far. Every single time I try to record video, the app crashes. Front facing camera? Freezes instantly. Main camera? Crashes after about a minute. I've tried non-native camera apps and the same thing happens. Even on video calls, I freeze and have to keep switching the camera if I want to unfreeze it for sixty seconds or so. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm on a pixel 8 so not a new one. But the pixel 6 didn't have this problem at all.
