Brutally honest career advice needed: CAT/GMAT/GRE vs staying in industry?
I'm at a point where I need to decide the next few years of my career, and I'd rather hear harsh truths than comforting advice.
**My profile:**
10th: **87%**
12th: **81%**
B.Tech (CSE): **8.7 CGPA**
Category: **OBC**
Work Experience:
1 year **internship** at a Canadian startup
1 year **full-time** at the same startup
4 months at **Blinkit** (currently)
**Long-term goal**: Move into strategy, product, operations leadership, or consulting.
**Since I have low grades in 10th/12th my dilemma is:**
\- Prepare for CAT and target IIMs/FMS/XLRI.
\- Prepare for GMAT/GRE and target ISB(PGP)/MBA programs abroad.
\- Skip the MBA for now and focus on switching jobs and growing my career.
I'm not looking for motivation. I want realistic feedback.
