play musical instruments play along with songs!

okay, how did I not know this? (discovered this by accident haha)

one day I was messing around with a guitar, and in the background 'only me' had been playing, the guitar only plays the note from the chord! (if you play the instruments without music it will give you random notes)

I messed around with the note values I was playing and ended up concluding that since 'only me,' was in 3/4, playing on every crotchet gave it a harmony! (for non music people + americans, that's every quarter note - basically every beat!)
