I have nothing to talk to my husband about
I (34f) have been with my husband (42m) for 15 years. As we have grown, I feel we have less and less in common. I feel I have emotionally withdrawn due to being overwhelmed and the one to carry most of the mental load and childcare.
In an effort to reconnect, I have been trying to initiate at least one conversation a day that doesn't have to do with our child or life logistics. My husband will often tell me stories about his day or something about one of his interests. When I try, I often find I have nothing to tell him. Part of this may be that I don't really do much besides work and home life (that is a whole different can of worms) but I don't really know how to reconnect at this point.
We don't have many shared interests or hobbies to do together and I don't see him really being interested in exploring new hobbies.
Does anyone have advice on reconnecting in an established relationship when there is just nothing to talk about?
Tldr: Husband and I have nothing to talk about. Advice?
