Prozac to Buspar

Hi everyone,

I’m wondering if anyone has successfully switched from prozac to buspar for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).
I’ve been taking Prozac for 8 years , currently on 10mg. It has helped my anxiety, but I’ve experienced weight gain, and that’s the main reason I’m thinking about coming off Prozac and possibly using Buspar by itself.
