In June Kevin Magnussen returned to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans for the biggest race of the FIA World Endurance Championship season – and one of the most prestigious events in world motorsport.

The Danish BMW factory driver lined up in the #15 BMW M Hybrid V8 alongside Raffaele Marciello and Dries Vanthoor as BMW M Team WRT arrived at Le Mans with strong momentum following a dominant 1–2 finish at Spa-Francorchamps. for Magnussen, it was his second Le Mans appearance with BMW m motorsport.

“It’s fantastic to be back. Le Mans is not only the highlight of the season, but also a legendary venue with so much history. It’s a race where everyone wants to perform well, which naturally adds extra pressure. So far, the preparations have gone well. It’s obviously far too early to predict our chances, but we had a solid test day where we completed our programme with a car that performed well throughout the day and without any technical issues,” said Kevin Magnussen.

For this year’s Le Mans, Magnussen was sporting a special helmet design created together with Admin By Request, featuring the company’s distinctive colors and branding for iconic race.

“So far, things have been moving in the right direction, and I feel we are in a strong position. If we can execute a clean race, make the right strategic calls and stay out of trouble, we should be in the fight for a strong result.”

The 2026 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans got underway on Saturday, June 13 at 16:00 local time (GMT +2).
