Hot take: Clayco and Lone is a better duo than Pierre and Carti

pierre and carti were a legendary duo but one thing that i believe puts them below clayco and lone is longevity and versatility.

lone and clayco have been working together for the past 5 years and every time lone changes his creative direction, clayco is right there with production that perfectly matches what lone is going for.

their versatility is what also puts them above pierre and carti.they have melancholic songs like teen knight poem and tied N, while also having songs like hldmyhnd and do the most.

i’m not undermining pierre and carti’s dynamic because the music they made was magic but i believe it’s time to start putting clayco and lone in the conversations pierre and carti are in.
