Intersection question from a visitor
Hello, people of Louisville. I'm planning to attend a training course in your great city and am looking to keep costs as low as possible. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do much in terms of tourist activities. However, I have a question that I'm looking for a local's perspective on.
If I try to cross Westport Road at Chamberlain Lane on foot at around 07:30am and likely 5pm. It would be a daily thing for an entire week. Is that dangerous or doable as a pedestrian? I can see a signal crosswalk there, but multiple people have told me it's likely to be a sketchy thing to try and that I should rent a car instead. I'm weighing the cost of a few hundred dollars since I'm only walking a mile in total each way. Can anyone more familiar with the area provide some advice?
